CIRCUTOR APPLICATIONS

aplicacion

Building "Torre de Picasso", Madrid (Spain)

Activity:
Very important office building based in the city centre of the spanish capital, Madrid, where takes place its core-business.

Detected Problem:
High 3rd Harmonic current by the neutral due to connection of manyfold computers and peripherals to the mains. Also 5th Harmonic presence generated by lifts.

Proposed Solution:
4 sets of APF-4W-400-130/180 to filter the 5th Harmonic and balance the system to avoid the named neutral currents.

Description:
NetActive Multipurpose APF active filter for 400V/180A.

NEWS FROM THE SECTOR
The engine that drives electric mobility
noticia

Governments are working in coordination with private initiatives to foster a veritable revolution in sustainable transport systems, supporting electric mobility and reductions in traffic volume with bike and car sharing services. Institutions are using the two fundamental concepts of innovation and sustainability to re-engineer the public bicycle rental system and implement a new concept of electric mobility that allows people to get around the city in a faster, cheaper and cleaner way.

Implementing this type of vehicle reduces total traffic volume in a city by over 6% and frees up more parking spaces. At the same time, use of the same car by a large number of people brings maximum returns on its use, and considering that conventional drivers have their cars parked 95% of the time, reductions in unit fixed costs would be considerable.

It is estimated that a motorbike and car sharing service is 40% more economical than other urban transport systems, as the vehicles are rented by time and distance covered, and

mobility becomes highly flexible because pick-up and return points can be selected. It has therefore been proposed as a real alternative for short trips for private individuals and companies, who can make use of the vehicle as if it were theirs whenever needed, and who will also see the considerable financial savings to be made with this service thanks to the inclusion of insurance, maintenance and garage costs in the overall price.

In addition to this cost reduction, a fleet is offered that operates on electrical energy, which contributes to savings in fuel costs of almost 5,000 euros for every 50,000 kilometres travelled. Therefore, it is evident that energy efficiency levels of the electric vehicle are almost twice that of the internal combustion engine, which in more concrete terms means that electric motors possess efficiency levels of 60% in comparison to the 20% of petrol engines.

noticia

In short, the financial and ecological benefits to be gained by adopting these initiatives have multiplied commitments made by companies to large cities allowing motorbike and car sharing, but a change in mentality is required if citizens are to become truly aware of the need to implement shared electrical mobility services. And, interestingly enough, the crisis has had a positive effect on this issue.

CIRCUTOR INNOVATIONS
Continuous innovation for earth leakage protection and monitoring
novedades
CIRCUTOR's constant innovative spirit continues to move forward offering a range of new solutions in the field of earth leakage protection.
The common denominator of our new products is that they all give our customers the advantages of:

·Avoiding production or service stoppages that
·could result in substantial economic losses
·Eliminating the risk of fire due to electric
·shock.
·Anticipating operating malfunctions, making it
·possible to take corrective actions and avoid
·possible losses or damages.

Earth leakage protection
within your reach

RGU2 is a compact ultra-immunized earth leakage relay, the only one on the market featuring a LCD screen and an LED bar in just two modules.

RGU-10B is a type B electronic earth leakage monitoring relay, with an LCD screen that enables viewing leakage with a DC component to prevent trips in installations where the presence of power electronics play an important role.

REC max is a self-rearming cut-off and protection device that provides both circuit breaker and ultraimmunised earth leakage protection with a display that enables preventing and anticipating possible system failures.

The REC3C family of Type A RCCB with self-closing are units with an automatic reclosing system that have the possibility of external signaling so that the protection status and operations carried out can be determined from a distance.
